The nose is peppery and offers fruit, precision and a certain intensity in the spices. There are notes of pulpy blackberry, candied cherry and small notes of red fruits with kirsch associated with touches of gray pepper, violet as well as hints of purple plum, zan, smoke, a hint of incense and toast. The palate is mineral and offers acidity, a small electric side in its acidulous frame. A finely tight/marked tannic structure. On the palate, this Porto expresses notes of crushed blackberry, candied blueberry and small notes of candied cherry associated with touches of crushed redcurrant, fig as well as a hint almost of dried apricot, spices, toasted, a hint of roasting and grilled almond. Tannins are slightly marked. Good length.
