The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity. The nose is expressive, tasty, slightly meaty and with notes of maceration. We find in particular the aromas of candied red cherry, crushed strawberry, red plum, a fresh and tangy touch of raspberry and blueberry and a very slight hint of roasted meat in the background. After aeration, the nose also expresses aromas of roasted bouquet garni, dried mint, a distinct spicy side (nutmeg, white pepper, licorice, vanilla in the background), as well as a delicate minerality (graphite). The palate is lively, very tasty, with fruit and freshness. It expresses notes of crushed red cherry, ripe morello cherry, wild strawberry, crushed raspberry, wild blackberry, combined with a delicious spicy side (a sweet touch of vanilla, licorice, nutmeg), aromatic herbs (roasted bouquet garni, fresh bay leaf, a hint of mint), a hint of chocolate and toasted hazelnut. The tannins are fine and enveloping. The salivating and refreshing acidity, beautiful length with notes of red chocolate cherry and a delicate bitterness.
