MASOS – Albor de Masos 2024 – DO Alicante

Lovely, fresh, fruity nose that offers a certain concentration and a discreet powdery side. There are notes of black cherry, wild blackberry and small notes of cornflower, associated with touches of rosemary, small red berries, as well as fine hints of lilac, nutmeg and gray pepper. The palate is well-built, supple, fresh and offers juiciness, depth, good definition, suavity, a certain roasting, precision and silkiness. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, pulpy cassis, crushed raspberry and small notes of crushed redcurrant, combined with a touch of crushed cranberry, hints of toasted, nutmeg, a subtle hint of rosemary, infusion, as well as discreet hints of dark chocolate and a hint of almost balsamic. The tannins are precise and finely mellow. Good length. Lovely brilliance. Good persistence on hints of plum, black cherry and licorice.
