On the palate this wine expresses notes of bigarreau cherry, wild cassis, small notes of bright violet plum associated with touches of cornflower, lily, small crushed blue fruits as well as hints of liquorice stick, black olive, dry local copse, sugared mild tobacco (in the background). Tannins are elegant, well-built. A very fine sapidity and a subtle chew on the finish.
