The nose is fine, aromatic, slightly gourmand and offers a fine richness (in the background). It reveals notes of fresh blackberry and fleshy strawberry associated with slight notes of ripe cassis, blueberry, a touch of violet as well as small notes of toasted oak, vanilla, chocolate and a very discreet hint of cardamon / tea. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, tight, straight and offers a nice mineral frame, suavity, tension, fat as well as a fine freshness. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry and fleshy strawberry combined with fine notes of fleshy cassis/berries, a hint of cherry as well as small touches of chocolate, wood, vanilla and a subtle hint of sweet spices. Tannins are fine and very slightly firm. Good length.
