The nose is aromatic and offers power, a beautiful fine grain, elegance as well as delicacy. It reveals notes of pulpy cassis, pulpy Boysen berry, small notes of crushed strawberry associated with small touches of blueberry, raspberry, lily as well as hints of pink laurel, nutmeg, very fine hints of sense of the place (local biotope), black tea, black olive, an imperceptible saline hint and caramelization. The palate is elegant, delicate and offers a beautiful finesse of the grain, precision, minerality as well as tension and a mineral frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/acidulous blackberry, creamy cassis, small notes of pulpy raspberry associated with a touch of acidulous violet plum as well as fine hints of lily, bramble, toasted, hazelnut and a subtle hint of caramelization. Good length. Tannins are elegant and well-built. Gourmandize and appetence on the finish/persistence.
