The nose is fresh, racy and offers a certain intensity as well as extent. There are notes of wild blackberry, ripe wild cassis and violet associated with touches of small red currants as well as hints of scrubland, clove, violet / lily flowers and a fine hint of pepper. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, freshness, roundness, good definition, an extent, a certain gourmandize as well as a very fine straightness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy / juicy blackberry, bright cherry and more slightly violet associated with small wild currants, sage, olive tree, tonka beans, flowers / lily as well as a subtle hint of scrubland and hazelnut. Good length.
