Mas Amiel 40ans – Maury

Mas Amiel 40ans – Maury

(Bottled in 06/2023) The nose is elegant, aromatic, gourmand and offers energy as well as matter. It reveals notes of marmalade, Quetsche plum and small notes of fresh rancio associated with a touch of fresh apricot as well as discreet hints of fresh almond and a subtle almost fresh balsamic hint. The palate is beautifully built, fruity, elegant, gourmand and offers a tangy frame, beautiful energy, finesse as well as a crystalline side. On the palate this wine expresses notes of apricot almond, fresh marmalade and small notes of crushed/fresh Quetsche plum associated with a touch of fresh fig, sage as well as a vinous hint, iodine, fresh tobacco, fresh almond and a hint of good bitterness (in the background). A great tangy persistence. A subtle aromatic tannic hint.
