The wine needs to be decanted. The nose is a bit tight and offers a slight richness as well as minerality. It reveals notes of nutmeg, toast, crushed red berries associated with touches of wild blackberry as well as slight hints of tea, gray pepper and spices. The palate is fruity and offers a nice freshness, minerality, good definition and energy. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of fairly ripe wild red berries, creamy blackberry and small notes of undergrowth combined with touches of tobacco and almond. Tannins are well managed. A subtle chew in the background.
