The nose is powerful, fine, aromatic and elegant. It reveals notes of Zante currant, tobacco / cigar, dried fig, rancio / caramel and candied lemon peels combined with a touch of gray pepper and a subtle hint of nuts. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a fine acid frame, suavity as well as a nice definition. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of candied lemon and candied clementine associated with small touches of candied lemon zest as well as touches of caramel, cedar wood, sweet spices and a subtle hint of rosewood. Good length. The finish is relatively gourmande.
