The nose is aromatic. It reveals fine notes of juicy black redcurrants, cassis and blueberry combined with slight touches of fleshy Boysenberry, small hints of liquorice, a discreet hint of grove, a subtle hint of tree sap as well as an imperceptible hint of tobacco, chocolate (in the background), roasting and hazelnut (in the background). The palate is fruity, beautifully balanced and offers a beautiful juiciness, a very beautiful / fine acid frame, finesse, a nice minerality, tension as well as a slight creminess. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy / juicy cassis and crunchy / juicy redcurrants associated with slight touches of raspberry, wild strawberry as well as a hint of blackberry, chocolate, toasted / roasted oak and a very discreet hint of hazelnut (in the background). Tannins are elegant. Good length.
