The nose is fresh, fruity as well as slightly powerful and aromatic. It reveals notes of fleshy blackberry, cassis and slight notes of crushed wild strawberry combined with discreet woody touches, a subtle hint of soil / terroir, liquorice, forest soil as well as a very discreet hint of menthol. The mouth is fruity, gourmand, well-balanced, well-built, racy and offers a very nice /juicy fruit, a beautiful structure, a beautiful guideline, a nice volume as well as a beautiful definition. On the palate this wine expresses notes of ripe fleshy raspberry, juicy raspberry and slight touches of cassis associated with slight touches of fleshy blackberry, crushed / juicy redcurrants (discreet), toasted oak, tonka bean as well as a subtle / discreet touch of tobacco and a subtle hint of tarweed / forest soil.
