It reveals notes of fleshy blackberry, cassis and slight notes of crushed wild strawberry combined with discreet woody touches, a subtle hint of soil / terroir, liquorice, forest soil as well as a very discreet hint of menthol. The mouth is fruity, gourmand, well-balanced, well-built, racy and offers a very nice /juicy fruit, a beautiful structure, a beautiful guideline, a nice volume as well as a beautiful definition. On the palate this wine expresses notes of ripe fleshy raspberry, juicy raspberry and slight touches of cassis associated with slight touches of fleshy blackberry, crushed / juicy redcurrants (discreet), toasted oak, tonka bean as well as a subtle / discreet touch of tobacco and a subtle hint of tarweed / forest soil. Tannins are fine and very slightly grainy. Good length. There is a very discreet hint of juicy cherry on the aftertaste.
