The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity. The nose is fragrant, airy, but offers a certain density, as well as pronounced but harmonious woody and toasted nuances. On the first nose, we feel the notes of heated wood, toasted hazelnut, toasted bitter almond and mint chocolate, associated with touches of dried pine needles and licorice. Then we find the notes of juicy morello cherry, blackberry, wild strawberry and crushed raspberry, associated with touches of fresh flowers (rose, peony, violet). The palate is juicy, lively, with a salivating acidity and firm but fine tannins. It expresses notes of red cherry, cranberries, tangy raspberry and crunchy strawberry, combined with toasted, woody and chocolatey notes (cocoa nibs, toasted hazelnut, toasted wood), with a mentholated touch (liquorice, dried mint) and floral (fresh rose, violet). The finish is lively and fruity, quite persistent, with notes of tangy red cherry and cranberries.
