The nose is aromatic and offers concentration, gourmandize, richness as well as a good finesse of the grain. It reveals notes of fleshy black plum, crushed cassis and small notes of juicy blueberry associated with a touch of crushed raspberry, Sichuan pepper, cornflower/violet as well as discreet hints of toasted/grilled and laurel/fry gound of local forest. The palate is fruity, juicy, well-balanced and offers a beautiful definition, tension, an acidulous frame, a beautiful richness, complexity as well as beautiful guideline. On the palate this wine expresses notes of black cherry, fleshy/juicy black plum and small notes of crushed blackberry associated with small touches of chocolate, toasted/grilled, grilled hazelnut as well as a discreet hint of cornflower, liquorice, dried/crushed almond and an imperceptible hint of laurel (in the background). Tannins are elegant. Very fine chew on the finish/persistence. There is an imperceptible hint of mild tobacco on the persistence. A very beautiful wine!
