The nose is fruity, concentrated and offers minerality, power as well as a beautiful finesse of the grain. It reveals notes of wild blackberry, juicy/fleshy wild cassis and small notes of crunchy wild red berries associated with touches of gray pepper, rose/lilac as well as fine hints of liquorice stick, nutmeg and a very discreet hint of laurel berries/cardamom. The palate is beautifully juicy, fruity, well-balanced, very finely tight and offers an acidulous frame, tension, a beautiful guideline, minerality, a good structure as well as a small tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy black berries, wild blackberry and small notes of crushed wild red berries associated with small touches of liquorice, toasted/caramelization, mild tobacco and a very discreet hint of rose/lilac (in the background). Tannins are structuring and well-built. Fine chew on the finish. There are hints of dried almond, chocolate, toasted/caramelization and an imperceptible hint of salinity on the persistence. A beautiful potential!
