The nose is fruity, fresh and offers a fine intensity, a small power as well as a fine grain. It reveals notes of blackberry, gray pepper and more slightly ripe red fruits associated with touches of toasted, chocolate/tonka bean, vanilla, hints of violet as well as very discreet hints of spices and Cuben pepper (in the background). The palate is fruity, mineral, well-balanced, precise and offers suavity, a beautiful acidulous frame, a good definition, a very fine firmness as well as fullness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/ripe red berries, fleshy/acidulous raspberry and more slightly blackberry associated with small touches of toasted, liquorice as well as hints of racy minerality, flowers and fine hints of chocolate. Tannins are well-built. Good length. There is a verydiscreet chew on the finish/persistence.
