Mario Bazan – Rosé 2023 – Napa Valley

(75% Cabernet Sauvignon from Pressé, 25% Cabernet Franc from Saigné) The nose offers a certain fruit, a small sappiness as well as a very discreet hint of nutmeg. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, freshness, suppleness, juiciness, energy as well as a tangy frame. On the palate expresses notes of pulpy/juicy raspberry, pulpy/juicy red plum and small notes of juicy/fresh cassis associated with touches of small bright red fruits as well as a hint of cherry and a subtle hint of zan. Good length. A very discreet hint of sage in the background.
