The nose is fresh, complex and offers a fine sap as well as a beautiful deepness. It reveals notes of cassis, juniper berries and small notes of wild cherry associated with touches of small wild red fruits as well as a hint of plum blossom, tobacco, Madagascar pepper and dry local grove. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers juiciness, suavity, a mineral frame, a good definition, gourmandize as well as suppleness. A nice, precise, juicy, bright and vibrant fruit. On the palate this wine expresses notes of bright black plum, black berries and small notes of black pepper associated with touches of juniper berries combined with fine hints of ripe red berries, tobacco, toasted, cardamom as well as a hint of roasting. A discreet hint of eucalyptus in the background. Good length and persistence. A beautiful work on the noble variety / the elegant bitterness.
