The nose is fruity, elegant and offers a nice well-mastered power as well as brightness. It reveals notes of bright redcurrant, bright cherry and small notes of pulpy cassis associated with touches of violet, pepper and laurel berries/sweet spices. The palate is fruity, balanced and offers juiciness, a mineral structure, good definition, gourmandise, accuracy, some tension as well as minerality. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy raspberry, bright redcurrant and small notes of juicy/fresh blue plum associated with a pretty racy minerality as well as delicate floral hints (even varietal) and a discreet hint of chocolate. The tannins are elegant, precise and coating.
