The nose is powerful, structured and offers concentration. It reveals slight notes of cassis and ripe red fruits (wild strawberry, redcurrant) associated with touches of gray pepper, spices and woody touches. The palate is fruity, mineral, well-balanced and offers suavity, gourmandise, roundness, freshness as well as a nice definition. In the mouth this wine expresses slight notes of ripe blackberry and cassis associated with slight touches of black cherry, discreet hints of ripe strawberry as well as subtle woody hints, chocolate and grilled. Tannins are fine and well-built. Good length. There is a slight hint of chocolate, caramelization and an impercpetible hint of hazelnut on the persistence.
