(organic) The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity. The nose is fragrant, ripe, fruity and slightly candied. It expresses notes of fresh morello cherry, macerated red cherry, crushed strawberry, raspberry coulis, fresh blackcurrant, black plum (with a slight touch of prunes), refreshed by a touch of menthol, peppermint and fresh basil. We also find refined notes of fresh flowers (iris, peony) and a hint of liquorice and chocolate with mint. The palate is juicy, with a round and fragrant attack; but the mid-palate and finish are tight, even drying. It expresses notes of fresh morello cherry, tangy crushed blackcurrant, tangy bigarreau cherry, cranberries, as well as notes of fresh basil, green olive, balsamic and cut grass in the background. The finish is moderately persistent, firm. The tannins have a grainy and drying texture.
