Mangiacane 2015 – Chianti Classico Riserva

The nose is fruity and offers a fine concentration, harmony and a beautiful fruit. It reveals notes of wild strawberry, fleshy wild redcurrants and small notes of plum associated with small touches of rose / violet as well as fine hints of Sichuan pepper, liquorice and a discreet hint of fresh leather (in the background). The mouth is fruity, well-balanced, mineral and offers a juicy / finely acidulous frame, a beautiful racy minerality as well as a good guideline. On the palate this wine expresses notes of wild strawberry, fresh / acidulous redcurrants and small notes of blackberry associated with small touches of violet, a hint of plum as well as discreet hints of garrigue, liquorice and discreet hint of fresh leather (in the background). Presence of a very discreet hint of toasted and hazelnut on the finish / persistence.
