The nose is fruity, slightly tight and offers gourmandize as well as a fine unctuosity. It reveals notes of plum, black cherry and small notes of chocolate associated with fine touches of red berries, sweet spices and a discreet touch of hot black olive. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers juiciness, a good definition, a juicy frame / slightly acidulous, finesse, minerality, straightness as well as a fine tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy black plum, black cherry and small notes of ripe wild redcurrant combined with slight hints of crushed strawberry as well as very discreet toasted hints and an imperceptible hint of local grove. The tannins are well-built.
