The nose is aromatic and offers a fine richness as well as a fine delicacy. It reveals notes of plum, blackberry and small notes of strawberry combined with slight touches of chocolate as well as hints of caramelization, olive, local grove and cardamom. The mouth is fruity, juicy, well-balanced and offers a good definition, a mineral frame, a small richness, a fine gourmandise as well as a slightly tight grain. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy cassis, chocolate, toasted and small notes of plum associated with small touches of crushed red berries, slight hints of local grove as well as a discreet hint of caramelization and tobacco sweet blonde. Tannins are well-built and structuring. Good length and persistence.
