Malvira’ – Renesio 2019 – Roero Riserva

(Bio) Beautiful, precise, pulpy, warm and elegant nose that offers a velvety, delicate and powerful grain. There are notes of violet, pulpy/ ripe plum and small notes of blackberries associated with touches of cornflowers, nutmeg and a subtle hint of star anise. The mouth is elegant, precise, mellow, fresh, supple and offers a mineral frame, a beautiful jutosity, brightness (of the fruit), fullness in delicacy as well as a beautiful quality of the fruit. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy/ juicy blackberry, juicy/ fresh bigarreau cherry and small notes of crushed redcurrants associated with touches of nutmeg, toasted, cardamom and a subtle hint of toasted almond. Good length. A very discreet sappy hint in the background. Tannins are mellow and subtly sappy.
