The wine has a pale ruby color. The first nose expresses a chalky minerality, as well as a touch of dry stone. On the second nose, we find notes of juicy red cherry, ripe raspberry, strawberry, red plum and fresh blackcurrant, combined with herbaceous notes of fresh tobacco, cut wild mint, a touch of bay leaf, as well as with savoury notes of sweet spices (licorice, ground cumin, clove), a hint of roasting (cocoa, toasted hazelnut, sweet coffee) and cherry in chocolate, as well as a hint of rose petals. The palate is enveloping and offers a certain volume, a beautiful fruity substance and a savoury spiciness, as well as a fine floral and herbaceous bouquet. It expresses the flavors of dried red cherry, fresh bigarreau cherry, ripe raspberry, strawberry, crushed blackcurrant, combined with notes of liquorice, clove, dried rose, dried mint and a touch of cherry in chocolate, as well as a touch of torrefaction (coffee, toasted hazelnut). The tannins are firm, but have a fine grain and a velvety texture. Beautiful acidity, the finish is quite persistent and sapid, with a good bitterness of dark chocolate.
