Maison Louis Latour – Château de Blagny 2023 – AOC Meursault-Blagny Premier Cru

The wine has a bright pale straw color. The first nose is aromatic, fresh, and fruity with notes of toast, butter, vanilla, and pine sap. Citrus fruits such as lemon and lime are perceived. There is a slight, racy minerality. The second nose opens with finesse. There are notes of white peach, pear, and white pepper. The palate is fresh and smooth on the attack with a pleasant butteriness. There are notes of fruit such as white peach and nectarine, but also green plum, lime, and juicy pear. Saltiness appears in the mid-palate. The finish is saline with a hint of brioche and lemon blossom, bringing a touch of lovely bitterness.
