The nose is toasted and offers a slight density, a velvety side as well as some gourmandize. It reveals notes of toasted bread, crushed boysenberry, nutmeg, and more slightly notes of crushed red fruits as well as a hint of pepper and liquorice. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, minerality, a tangy structure, good definition, freshness, and some tightness. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy/ripe cherry and moe slightly notes of small juicy purple plum associated with touches of small crushed red fruits as well as slight hints of violet, liquorice, toast, and an almost imperceptible hint of fig in the finish. Sapidity on the finish/persistence.
