The nose is racy and offers a fine and slightly tight grain. This wine needs to be put in carafe. It reveals notes of cherry, blackberry and small notes of cassis associated with fine touches of violet, graphite as well as fine hints of spices, cardamom and a very discreet hint of wild pepper. The palate is fruity, juicy, elegant and brings gourmandize, a fine richness, an acidulous frame, tension, minerality as well as a small power. On the palate this wine expresses notes of cherry, juicy/crunchy berries and small notes of blackberry associated with fine touches of cassis as well as hints of graphite, fresh flowers, cardamom and discreet hints of fresh leather. Good length. Tannins are very discreetly marked.
