The nose is fruity, precise, aromatic and racy. It reveals notes of black cherry, plum and small notes of blackberry associated with small notes of crushed berries, Sichuan pepper, dark chocolate and spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers juiciness, racy minerality, a fine tension as well as a fine acid frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of black cherry, juicy blackberry, juicy plum and small notes of red berries associated with discreet hints of spicy Sichuan pepper, Ceylon tea, chocolate and a very discreet toasted hint. Tannins are fine, precise and (very) slightly firm. Good length. Good persistence with touches of chocolate (brings gourmandise).
