The nose is fruity and offers power, concentration, elegance as well as a small complexity. The wine needs to be decanted. It reveals notes of cherry, blueberry, crushed strawberry and chocolate associated with small touches of jammy redcurrant, sweet spices, small toasted touches and a very discreet hint of vanilla. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, precise, very slightly tight and offers a good definition, an acid frame, elegance, a good guideline as well as density. On the palate this wine expresses notes of black cherry, ripe strawberry, plum and small notes of crushed raspberry associated with discreet hints of racy minerality, flowers, tonka bean, discreet toasted hints and vanilla. Tannins are well- built. Good length and good persistence. There is a hint of chocolate on the persistence.
