The nose is fruity, finely powerful and offers a fine concentration. It reveals notes of cherry and wild berries associated with small notes of black cherry, blackcurrant and subtle touches of racy minerality, flowers and Sichuan pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, precise and offers a good definition, an acidulous frame, juiciness, roundness, suavity, a fine straightness as well as a a (very) slightly tight grain. On the palate this wine expresses notes of cherry, juicy / crunchy redcurrant and small notes of blackberry associated with fine touches of tonka bean, minerality as well as small hints of cardamom, tea and sweet spices. Tannins are supple. Good length.
