The nose is aromatic and elegant. The wine needs to be decanted. It reveals notes of crushed blackberry, cassis and flowers (violet, iris, cornflower) combined with small notes of small red berries as well as subtle hints of nutmeg, green cardamom and Bourbon vanilla. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, fresh, elegant, racy and offers delicacy, power, a fine tension, gourmandise as well as a slightly tight grain. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry, wild strawberry and redcurrant combined with small notes of flowers (violet, cornflower, iris) as well as subtle hints of sweet spices and a very discreet toasted hint / vanilla (in the background). Tannins are fine, elegant and finely firm.
