Maison Cassagne et Vitailles – « Combarels » 2021…à la lumière – Terrasses du Larzac

The nose is fresh, fruity and offers a very slight crunchiness and a slight sappiness. There are notes of bright wild small red fruits, liquorice stick and small notes of cornflower associated with slight touches of cassis and a discreet hint of sage. The mouth is fruity and offers minerality, freshness, tension, juiciness, an acidulous frame, harmony, juiciness, brightness as well as a beautiful pulpiness/ juiciness/ freshness of the fruit. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of juicy/ pulpy blackberry, juici/ pulpy cassis and small notes of bright small red fruits associated with touches of violet, thyme and liquorice stick. Good length. Supple and sapid tannins.
