The nose is elegant, precise, fruity and offers a fine intensity. It reveals notes of ripe redcurrant, cherry, small notes of bright cassis associated with small touches of lily, violet as well as fine hints of liquorice stick, sense of the place/garrigue, a very discreet hint of pepper, spices and an imperceptible hint of vanilla. The palate is fruity and offers minerality, juiciness, a beautiful mineral frame, gourmandize, tension as well as freshness and a small suavity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of bright/fresh cassis, juicy/bright blackberry, small notes of crunchy strawberry associated with small touches of bright redcurrant, fresh flowers as well as fine hints of garrigue, discreet hints of fresh mild tobacco, liquorice stick and spices. Tannins are well-built. A small sapidity and a very discreet iodine hint on the finish. Good persistence.
