The wine has a pale ruby color. The first nose reveals delicate woody and herbal aromas (toasted almond, toasted wood, roasted bouquet garni, dried sage, tobacco). Then, we find mineral notes (rock, an earthy note), fruity aromas (red cherry, morello cherry, roasted red cherry, fresh raspberry, wild blackberry, crushed blackcurrant), as well as flowers (dried cornflower, dried rose) and a hint of cocoa. The palate is gourmand, lively, chiseled and tangy, with a pleasant sweetness of fruit and dark chocolate. It expresses notes of fresh strawberry, raspberry, red currant, blackcurrant, wild blackberry, red cherry as well as flowers (lilac, dried cornflower), aromatic herbs (mint, sage, bouquet garni), fresh flowers (cornflower, lilac) and a sweet hint of sweet spices (liquorice, nutmeg) and cocoa. The tannins are fine and delicate, but solid. Good persistence, chiseled, on a tangy hint of fruits.
