Madame de Beaucaillou 2024 – Saint-Julien

The nose is fruity and offers concentration on the fruit and depth. There are notes of bright cassis, bright blackberry and small notes of pulpy violet plum, associated with touches of crushed raspberry, hints of violet, racy minerality, as well as a discreet hint of almost blood orange and rose (in the background). The palate is fruity, balanced and offers juiciness, suavity, a mineral frame, good definition, juiciness, a certain brightness, aromatic depth and a fine, elegant austerity. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy cassis, bright Bigarreau cherry and small notes of crushed raspberry, combined with touches of racy minerality, small crushed black fruits, as well as fine hints of licorice stick, bergamot, toasted hazelnut and crushed almond. Good length. Lovely midpalate. The tannins offering mellowness.
