Madame de Beaucaillou 2022 – Saint-Julien

Madame de Beaucaillou 2022 – Saint-Julien

The nose is fruity, with depth, fragrance and a certain concentration. It reveals notes of crushed wild strawberry, fresh redcurrant and violet, as well as fine hints of cornflower and a subtle touch of blond tobacco. The palate is well-built, acidulous, racy, precise, supple, with a certain silkiness. It expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, crushed redcurrant and small notes of brilliant cherry, associated with touches of rhubarb as well as fine hints of violet. Good length. Tannins are lightly toasted/almond-powdered. Good persistence, with a hint of almost flint/graves. A fresh wine.
