The nose is fruity, fine, racy and offers a certain richness/concentration. It reveals notes of cherry, ripe wild small berries and slight hints of cassis associated with a discreet hint of red sherry, a subtle woody hint as well as a hint of flint, a very discreet hint of blackberry and an imperceptible hint of pepper. The palate is fruity, fine, sleek, mineral, well-balanced and offers fat, tension, elegance, suavity, freshness, a slight silky, a nice definition/expression, a very discreet hint of salinity as well as a nice guideline. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of ripe raspberry, ripe wild small red berries and a hint of cassis, licorice, toasted oak as well as a discreet hint of sweet spices and a slight notes of caramelization/vanilla on the finish. Tannins are fine and slightly firm. There is a hint of cacao on the persistence/aftertaste.
