The nose is fruity, structured, racy and offers a slight freshness as well as a slight power. It reveals notes of redcurrant, wild raspberry and slight hints of cherry/plum associated with a discreet hint of spices as well as a subtle hint of licorice and a discreet woody hint. There is a very discreet hint of truffle in the background, after aeration. The palate is frutiy, well-balanced and offers fat, suavity, a slight tension, an acid frame as well as freshness. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of wild raspberry and redcurrant associated with slight notes of small berries, plum as well as hints of spices, a subtle hint of licorice and a slight hint of truffle/earth. Tannins are well-built. Good length. There is a subtle hint of colas/chocolate on the persistence.
