The nose is powerful, fruity and offers a fine power and a very fine grain. It reveals notes of cassis, violet and small notes of strawberry associated with small touches of cherry, crushed blackberry, hints of gray pepper/Cuben pepper as well as a subtle hint of sugar mild tobacco, cardamom and caramelization. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a juicy/acidulous frame, precision, a good tension, a fine grain as well as dynamism. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/fleshy cassis, fleshy/juicy blackberry and small notes of juicy raspberry associated with fine touches of violet, iris and chocolate. Good length. There are very slight hints of almond and chocolate on the persistence.
