Lurra 2022 – Lalande-de-Pomerol

The nose is nicely built, spicy and offers deepness as well as a beautiful texture. It reveals notes of ripe wild strawberry, violet and small notes of bright blackcurrant associated with touches of tobacco, gravel, smoke as well as fine hints of spices. The palate is beautifully fruity, juicy, fresh, suave, racy and offers a nice gourmand, a beautiful definition, concentration, a beautiful sapidity as well as a delicate and powerful texture. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, bright/fresh blackcurrant and small notes of violet associated with beautiful mineral touches, smoke as well as a hint of bright small red fruits, spices, tobacco, camphor, infusion, cocoa and a discreet hint of Kampot pepper. Good length. Tannins are tasty. A subtle iodized hint and a very discreet hint of clove in the background. Good small chew in the background.
