The nose is fruity, powerful and incisive. It reveals notes of wild strawberry, red cherry and cranberry associated with notes of spice, Sichuan pepper, discreet hints of tea as well as a hint of tobacco and gray pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, relatively gourmand and offers finesse. On the palate this wine expresses notes of candied red cherry, cranberry and crushed wild strawberry associated with fine touches of black fruit (cassis, blackberry) and fine touches of liquorice. Tannins are fine and slightly dry. Good length and persistence.
