The nose is fruity, elegant and relatively concentrated. It reveals notes of red cherry jelly, cranberry, blackberry and Quetsche plum associated with fine notes of liquorice. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, relatively gourmande, relatively powerful and offers minerality, an acid frame as well as a good matter and volume. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry jam, juicy Quetsche plum and touches of cranberry, red cherry associated with fine touches of liquorice, slight touches of dark chocolate / cocoa as well as fine touches of sweet spices, cardamom and spices. Tannins are fine and well-built. Good length and persistence with fine touches of coffee.
