Lumia V.T. – Umbria IGT Passito

(Semillon) The nose is aromatic, sweet and very gourmand. It expresses notes of candied quince, roasted Golden apple, roasted pear, peach in syrup, honey, as well as tangy notes of candied lemon and orange, grilled vanilla and toasted hazelnut. The palate offers a delicate richness, a supple texture and sweet flavors of roasted golden apple, peach in syrup, roasted quince, roasted apricot, grilled vanilla, toasted hazelnut, as well as rosemary in syrup and laurel. The finish is persistent, honeyed, with a touch of quince paste and roasted peach. The supple, but fresh acidity balances the sweetness of the wine.
