Loving Cup Vineyard & Winery, Loving Cup Sparkling White, Pétillant Naturel 2023 – Monticello

The wine has a pale lemon yellow color, with very fine bubbles. The nose is fresh, slightly yeasty and lactic, floral and lemony. It expresses notes of lemon zest, green apple, lemon yogurt, as well as acacia, honeysuckle, hay and a touch of yeast in the background. The palate is generous and offers a slightly sweet attack (on notes of candied lemon peel, yellow apple and apricot), as well as a fine, but generous and enveloping mousse. We then find a good bitterness of grapefruit, tanginess of yellow lemon and green apple, as well as a touch of yeast, acacia, lemon yogurt and hay. Good length with refreshing acidity and good bitterness.
