Louis Max 2016 – Coteaux Bourguignons 

The nose is aromatic and offers a very slight concentration. It reveals notes of cornflowers, plum and small notes of blue berries, blackberry, pepper associated with very discreet hints of sweet spices as well as an imperceptible hint of cardamom. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, a bit gourmande and offers a good definition, a small juiciness, a good suavity, a slight minerality / freshness, a slight straightness as well as a small fresh frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blue berries, cornflowers / rose and small notes of plum associated with small touches of red fruits, Zan as well as very discreet hints of sweet spices and a very discreet hint of almond (in the background). Tannins are well-built and very discreetly mellow. Good length. Good persistence (with notes of liquorice).
