The nose is precise, elegant and offers lovely finesse of grain and fine power. It reveals notes of boysenberry, violet and small notes of crushed cherry, associated with fine touches of gunflint, as well as a hint of lilac and red pepper (on the floral side). The palate is juicy, fruity, fresh and mineral, offering a fresh frame, good definition and fine fatness. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, fresh/pulpy cherry and small notes of violet, associated with touches of lilac, small bright red fruits, as well as fine hints of sweet, fresh blond tobacco, nutmeg and toasted hazelnut. Good length. The tannins are precise and mellow. A subtle hint of sappy in the background/on the finish and a discreet firmness.
