The nose is fruity, creamy and has a fine power. There are notes of crushed blackberry, wild blue berries, strawberry, pepper, incense and a subtle hint of spice. The palate is fresh, mineral, balanced and offers a tangy structure, a certain creaminess, depth and a fine blackness. On the palate this wine has creamy blackberry, dark berries and slightly tonka bean/cocoa notes combined with hints of ripe red berries and hints of vanilla bean, toast and fine roasted hazelnut. Smooth tannins. Good length.
