The nose is aromatic, fine and offers powerful as well as complexity. It reveals notes of ripe wild blackberry, violet and small notes of ripe raspberry associated with touches of tonka bean as well as discreet hints of spices and a subtle hint of tea. The palate is fruity and offers freshness, an acidulous frame, minerality, tension, straightness, precision, juiciness, fat, elegance as well as generosity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy ripe cassis, fleshy/ripe rapsberry and small notes of cherry associated with fine touches of violet/cornflower as well as very fine hints of tonka bean, tea and an imperceptible hint of pepper. Tannins are finely firm. A finish on crushed almond and which offers a very fine firmness.
